Suicide lives in happy places

States where dispositions are sunniest cast the darkest shadows, according to a recent study.

It uncovered that states including Colorado that rank highly in sense of satisfaction correspondingly tend to have the highest suicide rates. Conversely, states that rank poorly in well-being tend to have some of the nation's lowest suicide rates.
