Big wedding news, other good news, a little bad news

So life has been pretty crazy lately, so I haven't written many blog posts about what's going on. Here are some updates:

Wedding news

An official wedding date has been set. I'm not going to announce the exact date on here because my exhusband's prying eyes are always on this blog, but I will say it's in fall 2012. We have colors picked out (dark red, black, and white). We've got a flower girl (

Puppy is bringing me happiness

This is my 2,000th post in this blog. I can't believe it's lasted that long. Actually, I am more just shocked that I've stuck to something for four years (The blog was started on July 4, 2007). So much has changed in that time, some really bad things, some good things.

For this milestone post, I'm writing about something that has brought me great joy instead of my normal depressing talk. I'm

A new baby, and a new puppy

I won't, of course, get to meet him in person for a while, but I'm sure he'll be just as cute in person.

My brother and his wife's baby should

Two weeks ago, I went to church, and the minister gave a sermon about how you can overcome the "labels" of your past. He kept stressing the point that no matter what people have thought

Reasons I love my boyfriend

Every week the marriage preparation class that my fiance and I are taking gives us "homework," and for this week's class we were supposed to make a list of 10 reasons we love our partners (minus any physical attributes). I figured since I had to do it, I might as well post it on here...

1) He is great with my dogs

2) He is not abusive

3) He has a strong Christian background

4) He values

I am seeking new therapy for abuse/rape

I've alluded to the fact that I'm not doing well lately, but I haven't explained. I'm not even sure how to explain what's happening. Always in the past I had a pretty good understanding of my own mind and what I was going through, but now I'm at a loss. I set out on a path of self-discovery a while back. I've been trying to face all my issues in an attempt to overcome them. Somehow by facing them
